WoW – Premiers royaumes US connectés
Le 14 septembre, nous vous traduisions une information concernant le statut d'avancement des royaumes connectés. Aujourd'hui, nous en savons un peu plus grâce à un message de Nethaera mis à jour cette nuit :
Update: We have completed maintenance to join Boulderfist and Bloodscalp into the first pair of Connected Realms. These realms should now be live once again, and we sincerely appreciate your patience during this maintenance period.
We would like to take the time to make players aware of a couple of known issues that we are currently investigating. The first of these is that players who do not have their macros cached locally may need to re-create those macros. Additionally, we have received reports of the guild message of the day not being displayed for some characters. At this time we’re unaware of how widespread these issues may be, and will investigate and resolve these issues before connecting any additional realms.

Update: In order to implement our first Connected Realms, Boulderfist and Bloodscalp will be taken down for an extended maintenance beginning Wednesday, September 25, at 3:00 a.m. PDT until approximately 11:00 a.m. PDT. During this time these realms will be unavailable for play. Additional realm connections are planned for the near future, and we’ll be posting a full list at WorldofWarcraft.com as soon as we’ve finalized the details.

We wanted to update everyone on the next steps for the implementation of Connected Realms. We plan to begin the rollout of this feature with just a couple of realms, and have determined that the first realms that will be connected will be Boulderfist and Bloodscalp—we’ll provide another update once we’ve finalized the date. Beyond that, we are in the process of determining a complete realm-connection schedule, and will be releasing more details as we progress.

Deux Royaumes américains sont donc actuellement en cours d'interconnexion, la maintenance ayant commencé vers midi pour notre fuseau horaire. Après cette maintenance qui va durer environ 8 heures, , Boulderfist et Bloodscalp ne feront plus qu'un. Si tout se passe bien, d'autres royaumes seront connectés dans les jours qui viennent !
Il ne reste maintenant plus qu'à observer comment les choses vont se passer au retour des serveurs (prévu vers 20h, heure française), les éventuels bugs ou latence, et surtout d'attendre les listes concernant l'Europe !
Edit 26/09 : tout semble s'être bien passé même s'il y a quelques soucis :
- les macros non stockées localement devront peut-être être recrées
- le message du jour de la guilde n'est pas affiché correctement
Ils cherchent les causent et règlent ces soucis avant de connecter d'autres royaumes.
